In addition to providing private pitching lessons and sports clinics for teams and
leagues across California, Hawaii, and Nevada since 1990, Sharon Nichols also served
as a pitching consultant for Western Oregon University, Hope International University,
and Missouri Western State University. She is also an assistant clinician for the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has experience developing total sports training
(mind-body-spirit-skill) clinics for young athletes in any sport.
Prior to Sharon Nichols: Total Sports Training, Nichols was the pitching coach for
Santa Ana Community College (State Champion, 1985). She also served as an assistant
coach for Long Beach City College in 1986, a few years after graduating with a bachelor's
degree in physical education from Chapman University.
While attending, Nichols led her team to the NCAA Women's College World Series twice.
They finished second in 1979. Before Chapman University, Nichols had already earned
recognition as an All-Conference pitcher on National Championship teams while attending
